Andover
Residents can bring their recycling and trash to the Chester-Springfield Recycling Center and Transfer Station at 135 Fairground Road in Springfield, one mile north of Riverside Junior High School (west side). Click here for more information. Or residents can contract with a private hauler for trash removal, food scrap pickup, and recycling services.
For food scrap diversion from the landfill, residents can build a backyard composter, or purchase a Soil Saver backyard composter from the Solid Waste District. OR, residents with an access permit can dump food scraps (including meat and bones) at the Springfield Transfer Station.
