The District sponsors at least two events each year for the collection and safe disposal of household hazardous wastes. Residents and businesses from all member towns may participate. Businesses will be charged a fee and must pre-register. No pre-registration required for residents.
Up to 10 gallons accepted free-of-charge. 11+ gallons = $2/gallon
The spring collection is held on the second Saturday in May at the Springfield Transfer Station from 9:00 a.m. - noon and at the Rockingham Transfer Station from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The fall collection is held on the second Saturday in September at the Springfield Transfer Station from 9:00 a.m. - noon and at the Weathersfield Transfer Station from 9:00 a.m. - noon.
