Any District resident is welcome to bring HHW to any District collection.

The District will hold household hazardous waste (HHW) collections (for District residents only) on:
Saturday, May 12 Springfield Transfer Station 9:00 a.m. - noon
Saturday, May 12 Rockingham Transfer Station 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 8 Springfield Transfer Station 9:00 a.m.-noon
Saturday, Sept. 8 Weathersfield Transfer Station 9:00 a.m. - noon

Up to 10 gallons of waste is taken free-of-charge.

Bring in a mercury thermometer - get a free digital thermometer.
Pre-registration is not required for District residents. If you are a business that is considered to be a Conditionally Exempt Generator of HazWaste (less than 220 lbs./mo.), you may participate but you must pre-register and pay for your disposal costs.
