Food Related - Polystyrene (PS#6) plastic--found under meats, and in clam-shell type packaging (restaurant take-home containers)--currently has no market in our area. Unfortunately, this means there is no #6 recycling at this time in our area. Rinse (to cut down the smell) and put in your regular trash.

Packing Materials - Styrofoam packing peanuts and packing blocks cannot be recycled, but packing peanuts are accepted from residents at the Ludlow, Rockingham, and Springfield recycling centers and made available for re-use.
