Worn/torn - doesn't matter; bring clean and dry sheets to a SEVCA store, or bring them to your transfer station - Cavendish, Ludlow, Plymouth, Rockingham, and Weathersfield all have textile sheds that accept the following (as does Springfield's Second Chance Shop):
- bagged, clean and dry clothing: all types, including ripped, stained, and out-of-fashion
- shoes - bagged separately from clothing
- bagged, clean and dry linens: blankets, sheets, towels, curtains (including ripped or stained)
- belts, purses, hats, mittens, coats, socks
Southeastern Vermont Community Action (SEVCA) services these sheds. The materials will be sold and the profits used to fund community programs in our area.
