6:00 p.m. Public Informational Meeting to review the proposed Waste Management Ordinance.

4. Action on the Executive Committee recommendation to adopt the        proposed Waste Management Ordinance

5. Action on the Executive Committee recommendation of July 26, 2007: On a motion made by Frank Heald, seconded by Gary DeRosia, the Committee voted to recommend that the Board of Supervisors authorize a District surcharge of $5.00 per ton for MSW, C&D, and bulky wastes generated in the District to pay for expenses of the District. (See enclosed minutes of August 2, 2007 and September 20, 2007 for details.)

6. Under the provisions of the Ordinance, all haulers doing business in the District will be required to obtain a License from the District. The Executive Committee recommends that the Board of Supervisors establish a $10.00 fee as part of the licensing application process.

a. Action to accept $7,500 from Art Lynds for a supplemental environmental project which will be a half-price electronics collection on Saturday, April 26, 2008.
